Project Coordinator

What you will do for us:

As a Project Coordinator, you will utilize your analytical and project management skills to create organizational project plans and tracking methodologies. Will work with business units to develop project scope documents, identify goals and success markers, measure, and report progress. Facilitates communication to keep projects on time and on budget and helps motivate team members to meet their commitments.

  • Coordinates multiple inter-dependent projects following the F&A Project Management methodology.
  • Understands the business needs and works with departments to develop project scope, vendors options (where applicable), and acts as the central repository for all project-related documentation.
  • Works with business units to ensure completion of project scope documents and ensures all key stakeholders and senior management have approved a project prior to launch.
  • Leads multi-disciplinary teams, composed of various levels of personnel, vendors, and clients to ensure timely results.
  • Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical stakeholders and executives.
  • Advocates for continuous improvement of systems, procedures, processes, and tools in support of the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Identifies, communicates, and facilitates resolution of branch/division/department areas of concern, or cross organizational issues that may impede or impact other projects/initiatives.
  • Identifies resources required to execute projects and ensures the availability and capacity of those resources.
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams as well as clients and vendors/subcontractors to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
  • Manages problem resolution and risk mitigation for escalates issues, problems and risks as needed.
  • Promotes integration with existing tools and reporting to streamline processes and accelerate project delivery.
  • Available to work the Credit Union’s core business hours, Monday – Friday 8am – 5 pm.


  • BA/BS in business, finance, or related field
  • Ability to be bonded and retain status
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in analytics and project management roles in the financial services industry, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with PCs and related software applications (MS Office Suite, database, and project management applications)
  • Highly proficient in project management techniques
  • Ability to apply knowledge of financial institution operations to identify needs and work with teams to develop solutions.
  • Ability to write insightful and clear business correspondence and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and create/present actionable and relevant reports using graphs, charts, and slides.
